Abolition of Capital Punishment - Fr. P. D. Mathew. S. J. (Advocate)

Capital punishment means a sentence of death. It is the most severe form of punishment under the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Capital punishment can be given under several sections including kidnapping for ransom, abetment of mutiny, murder and dacoity with murder and offences against the State.
