ഷാര്‍ജ: മലയാളിയായ കൊച്ചു കവയിത്രിയുടെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്‌ കവിതാ സമാഹാരം ഷാര്‍ജ രാജ്യാന്തര പുസ്‌തകമേളയില്‍ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി. ദുബായ്‌ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളിലെ എട്ടാം തരം വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിനി റബേക്ക മേരി ജോണിന്റെ 30 കവിതകളുടെ സമാഹരം ദ്‌ മ്യൂസിങ്‌സ്‌ ഓഫ്‌ എ യങ്‌ ഗേള്‍ പുസ്‌തകമേള വേദിയില്‍ പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്‌തു. വായനക്കാരുമായി പിന്നീട്‌ കവയിത്രി സംവദിക്കുകയുമുണ്ടായി. മേളയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞ എഴുത്തുകാരിക്ക്‌ സംഘാടകര്‍ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റും വിതരണം ചെയ്‌തു.

എട്ട്‌ വയസുമുതലാണ്‌ തിരുവല്ല സ്വദേശി റെജി ജോണ്‍-സൂസന്‍ ജോണ്‍ ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകള്‍ റബേക്ക കവിതയുടെ ലോകത്തേയ്‌ക്ക്‌്‌ പ്രവേശിച്ചത്‌. ആദ്യകാലത്ത്‌ സ്‌കൂളിനെക്കുറിച്ചും പുസ്‌തകത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുമൊക്കെ എഴുതിയിരുന്ന 12കാരിയുടെ തൂലികത്തുമ്പില്‍ നിന്ന്‌ ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഉതിര്‍ന്നുവീഴുന്നത്‌ ഗൗരവമുളള വിഷയങ്ങള്‍. കേരളത്തില്‍ അവധിക്കാലം ചെലവഴിച്ചതിന്റെ ഓര്‍മകളില്‍ കുറിച്ച 39 ഡേയ്‌സ്‌ ഫോര്‍ ഇന്ത്യ, മൈ ബെസ്‌റ്റ്‌ ബാത്ത്‌ എവര്‍, വെയ്‌റ്റിങ്‌ ഫോര്‍ ഫയര്‍വര്‍ക്‌സ്‌, ദ്‌ ടൈം കാപ്‌സ്യൂള്‍, ദുബായ്‌-എ ജെം ഇന്‍ ദ്‌ ഡെസേര്‍ട്ട്‌, ഗോഡ്‌സ്‌ ഓണ്‍ കണ്‍ട്രി തുടങ്ങിയ കവിതകള്‍ മികവു പുലര്‍ത്തുന്നു. വിവരങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌: 056-1393867.


Rebecca Mary John ( age 13 years ) has written a book of English poems ( around 30 poems ). She is studying in Class 8 in THE INDIAN HIGH SCHOOL, Dubai.The book is titled - ?The Musings of a Young Girl? by Rebecca Mary John.This book has been published by AUTHORHOUSE, USA & is based on various secular & religious topics ( one of them is about her own school & another one about Dubai ) . She was given a Certificate of the Youngest Author by Sharjah Intl. Book Fair Authorities 2013 & she has been allotted a slot to recite her poetry in EMIRATES LITERATURE FESTIVAL, Dubai on 8?th March 2014.
