Saint Francis of 21st Century. These Pictures Say A Thousand Words.-26-Sep-2015
It looks like Pope Francis is the reincarnation of Saint Francis Assisi of the 12th Century. Reincarnation is the religious or philosophical concept that the soul or spirit, after biological death, can begin a new life in a new body. This doctrine is a central tenet of ancient civilizations of the world like Indian and Greece. The word "reincarnation" derives from Latin, literally meaning, "entering the flesh again". Though the major Christian denominations reject the concept of reincarnation, a large number of Christians profess the belief. In a survey by the Pew Forum in 2009, 24% of American Christians expressed a belief in reincarnation. In a 1981 Survey in Europe 31% of regular churchgoing Catholics expressed a belief in reincarnation. ...
Pope’s speech in the U.N taken into heart by World Leaders. His speech in full below:-26-Sep-2015
The Pope uses his speech to the UN to call for a ban on nuclear weapons and to highlight climate change and the ‘ecological crisis’. Mr President, Ladies and Gentlemen, Thank you for your kind words. Once again, following a tradition by which I feel honored, the secretary general of the United Nations has invited the Pope to address this distinguished assembly of nations. In my own name, and that of the entire Catholic community, I wish to express to you, Mr Ban Ki-moon, my heartfelt gratitude. I greet the heads of state and heads of government present, as well as the ambassadors, diplomats and political and technical officials accompanying them, the personnel of the United Nations engaged in this 70th session of the General Assembly, the personnel of the various programs and agencies of the United Nations family, and all those who, in one way or another, take part in this meeting. Through you, I also greet the citizens of all the nations represented in this hall. I thank you, each and all, for your efforts in the service of mankind. This is the fifth time that a pope has visited the United Nations. I follow in the footsteps of my predecessors Paul VI, in1965, John Paul II, in 1979 and 1995, and my most recent predecessor, now Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, in 2008. All of them expressed their great esteem for the organization, which they considered the appropriate juridical and political response to this present moment of history, marked ...

This man was the reason that Pope Francis addressed U.S Congress-25-Sep-2015
It was speaker John Boehner, a practicing Conservative Catholic, who invited Pope Francis to visit U.S and address the Congress. Boehner has been asking pontiffs to visit America for the last two decades, but all his requests were rejected. Yesterday he could not control his emotions. He wept after shaking hands with the Pope in a private meeting captured on live by several television channels. The Pope commented on Boehner's green tie that it's "the color of hope," prompting the Republican from Ohio to reply, "We'll need a lot of hope today." 40 minutes later Pope Francis stood in front of Speaker Boehner asking him the permission to speak in the Congress, because speaker is the highest authority in the Congress. Boehner somehow managed to hold his emotions together while introducing the pontiff with "distinct honor." When Pope Francis addressed the Congress, Boehner wiped his eyes and nose, finally he had to use a handkerchief to control his overflowing eyes. Meeting the Pope was a "humbling moment," he said later, after calling the visit a "great blessing." "When you grow up Catholic, you learn about the Pope as a distant figure, closer to God than any of us," Boehner wrote in his post. "To have him here, at our Capitol, among our people, is once-in-a-lifetime moment. A glimpse of grace." "For a Catholic boy like me, this is...

Pope in America, in a small economy car. Repeating his lesson for American Malayalee Christians.-22-Sep-2015
At a time when American Malayalee Christians are arrogantly competing to show off their Luxury Cars on Sundays, across America, Pope Francis reminds the value and morals of Christianity and Catholicism. Premises of Malayalee-Churches in America have become the venue of “Weekly Auto Show”, and many Malayalees attend Malayalee-Churches for Fashion Parade, Jewelry Display and Auto Show. Those who do not own these luxuries ‘for good reasons’ are withdrawing themselves, turning to non-Malayalee churches for their spiritual needs. They get more happiness and peace from non-Malayalee churches, finding it more affordable and accessible. This culture of pride among Malayalee-Christians is spreading, like a psychosis. And the prejudice and discrimination fostered by some Christian-Malayalee Priests has become a lethal cancer to the U.S Malayalee-Christian community. These unholy priests do benchmarking of Malayalee-families based on ‘display’ and appearance to satisfy their selfish and blasphemous ambitions. Many spouses are torturing themselves with overtime duties, double duties, equity loans, and some even splitting up at the end, while more ending up with severe stress-related illnesses. All for the cause of attending Malayalee-Church in a 'luxury car'. ----------------------------------- ...

Pope Meets Communist Stalwart Fidel Castro-20-Sep-2015
Pope Francis met with former Cuban leader Fidel Castro in Cuba today after this morning's Mass, Vatican spokesman Father Lombardi said. The Mass in Havana's Revolution Square was attended by 300,000 people, according to the Cuban government. After Holy Mass he met a small group and went to Fidel Castro's home for another meeting. Castro’s wife was also there with his children and grandchildren. They were together for about 30 to 40 minutes. Francis gave Fidel Castro several books, as well as a book and two CDs of homilies and a copy of his two encyclicals. In return, Castro gave Francis an interview book entitled, "Fidel and Religion," written in 1985 by Freitas Betto. Fidel wrote a dedication in it: "For Pope Francis, on occasion of his visit to Cuba, with the admiration and respect of the Cuban people." The atmosphere was "familiar and informal," Father Lombardi said, and the conversation centered around "protecting the environment and the great problems of the contemporary world." ...
High Demand for tickets to Papal Visit. U.S congress votes to restrict access.-30-Jul-2015
Due to the high demand for the entry tickets to Capitol building for attending Pope Francis's address, the U.S congress voted yesterday to set up a new regulatory reform bill. This bill will restrict access to the House floor on Sept 24, 2015 when Pope Francis addresses a joint session of house, first time in the history of United States. The house approved the bill, 240-167. The new provisions in the bill essentially block former members of Congress from attending the address. Former members of Congress who are not registered lobbyists are allowed generally unfettered access to the U.S. Capitol and chamber floors after they leave office. However, demand for tickets to the papal address have inundated congressional offices, increasing the need for attendance restrictions as well as the need to expand viewing opportunities. The House chamber will be reserved for sitting lawmakers and their designated guests, as well as for those customarily invited to joint-sessions of Congress, including the president and vice president, Supreme Court justices, appointed U.S. Capitol officials and other guests at the discretion of the speaker. House Speaker John Boehner (Republican-Ohio), who was the key person to invite Pope Francis, announced that the address would be broadcast live on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol so more people can view and listen to Pope Francis. The pope is also expected to ...
